Saddle Up: A Benefit Trail Ride to Fight
Diabetes
Had a wonderful time on this trail ride. Was well thought out
and close to home!
Sally Massey rode Sweet Surprize, (Prize), Marlin Bales rode
Winseck Wonderwyn, (Garry), and I rode DeReve, (Baby). The
horses were well behaved, as they should be, the weather was
cool, and we'll be looking forward to next time!
Hope they raised a lot of money for a good cause.!
This was our first trip on an organized Trail Ride. Our butts are
sore but still looking forward to the next.
Eliza Creek Arabians
US National Arabian Horse
Show 2009
Arabian Nationals has come and gone. Was a fun week with unbelievably
beautiful horses. Some of the Winners that we know.......
Margeret Lucas - National Champion Trail, ATR with
Authentikhemo and Reserve National Champion Trail ATR with
Immortal Treasure along with 4 Top Ten awards in Trail Open and
Amateur. CONGRATULATION MEG!!!!!
Harper Arabians: Jeremy Harper showed Musk Be Amazing HA
to 2 Top Tens, Western Pleasure AAOTR and Western Pleasure
Maturity AATR
Cindy Hildebrand didn't bring a horse to Nationals but she bought
one while she was there. It is a mare by Heza Zee I believe and
she did make the finals in Reining.
Marg and Rio put in a great effort but didn't quite make Top Ten, I
think they'll be back next year? I hope
Mikael Caillier, an Arabian horse owner from Washington State,
made the gruelling drive from home to Nationals with 3 horses. 2
showed, her stallion, Scandalous Legacy who had a really nice
go in Western Pleasure AATR 55 and over and her yearling colt,
"Rhet" showed nicely in Yearling Breeder's Sweeps Class.

Congratulations!
To Terry and Linda Seimers
They now have an Autograph Grandbaby!
Daisy is an Autograph daughter out of the grade mare Patches. Patches was a Half Arabian, 1/4 Fox Trotter, 1/4 Appaloosa. Terry breeds Fox Trotters for field trials and trail riding and wanted to ad some "pretty" to his horses. I think he has done it. This is a very nice colt and looks to be black, AND he is definitely gaited!
